Connecting arduino to wemos D1 R1

Hi everyone !

I am trying to find a way to connect the to boards Arduino uno and Wemos D1 R1 so that i can send data to IFTT which which eventually send me notification to my phone.

Hey,
You can connect the two boards using UART/serial communication, just make sure that the baud rate is set the same on both boards, and cross-connect the RX and TX pins.
However, the wemos D1 has built-in Wifi and all the capabilities of the Arduino board, so I’m wondering what you want to make this connection for.

Hmm, Wemos doesn’t exist in the component editor yet. :confused:
